Ernest Tosh and Jeff Aidikoff will teach an interactive workshop on how to take the best possible depositions to build your bedsore case for trial. Bedsore cases require a breadth of knowledge that differentiates them from most injury cases. This workshop will give you the knowledge and information to ensure you can maximize damages at mediation and trial through effective deposition strategies and questions.
Specifically, do you understand the medicine underlying bedsores and which comorbidities to attack during your treating-physician depositions? We will provide you the clinical strategies to defeat the common bedsore defenses. Are you proficient in staffing reports? We will teach you how to use them when deposing a Director of Nursing. Do you know how to read federal cost reports and how to prove potential fraud? We will teach you.
Prior to the conference, participants will receive information helpful to their overall understanding of bedsores, including a brief description of their pathology, and patterned deposition questions participants will perform. Participants will also be provided full deposition outlines that they can use for future cases.
